As Operations Manager, you will lead a procurement team, allocating workloads and managing priorities based on business requirements.

How you’ll help us make health happen

  • By managing and motivating your team and ensuring they are provided with the knowledge and training needed to fulfil their roles effectively and encouraging excellent customer service
  • Report concerns and potential problems to the Head of Procurement and make proposals regarding the appropriate remedial actions.
  • Create, monitor and report on appropriate team KPIs.
  • Create and provide timely reporting for the Procurement & Commercial function.
  • Implement best practices in procurement processes and suggest improvements for operational efficiency.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

  • MCIPS or Equivalent Qualification would be beneficial but not required
  • Excellent communication skills are essential
  • Analytical thinking with excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for process improvements
  • Comprehensive experience of working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure a successful commercial outcome
  • Recent and relevant experience of leading cross-functional/business unit teams
