Senior Procurement Specialist

4 Month Fixed Term Contract

UK Remote with occasional travel

They have continued to deliver leading-edge finance solutions through a unique combination of teamwork and technology.

From this continued success, they are now looking to recruit a Senior Procurement Specialist on a 4-month Fixed Term Contract to support their growth plans and lead the selection and implementation of a new core business system. This project aims to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and support the company's growth strategy.

The successful candidate will operate in a consultancy capacity, providing expert guidance and support to the programme. Responsibilities include managing the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring compliance, minimizing risk, and securing value.

Role responsibilities:

• Procurement strategy & planning for system selection
• Leading RFI/RFP development and vendor evaluation
• Contract negotiation and compliance with FCA standards
• Acting as procurement lead and key contact for internal stakeholders
• Supporting project delivery alongside the Programme Manager
• 7–10+ years in strategic procurement, especially around enterprise software selection
• Deep understanding of contract law, procurement best practices, and vendor negotiation
• Experience in financial services (asset finance a plus)
• Strong stakeholder engagement, commercial acumen, and project delivery skills
• Ideally MCIPS-qualified
