4 Month Fixed Term Contract

UK Remote with occasional travel

They are seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist for a 4-month Fixed Term Contract to lead the selection and implementation of a new core business system, a critical project to streamline operations and support growth.

The successful candidate will act as a consultant, managing the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring compliance, minimizing risk, and securing value.

Role responsibilities:

• Develop procurement strategy and plan for system selection
• Lead RFI/RFP development and evaluate vendors
• Negotiate contracts and ensure FCA compliance
• Serve as procurement lead and stakeholder contact
• Support project delivery with the Programme Manager
• Bring 7–10+ years in strategic procurement, especially enterprise software
• Deep knowledge of contract law, procurement practices, and vendor negotiations
• Experience in financial services, asset finance a plus
• Strong stakeholder engagement, commercial skills, and project management
• Ideally MCIPS-qualified
