4 Month Fixed Term Contract

Our client, established in 1996, provides flexible and accessible finance to SMEs across the UK. Over 20 years, they have grown into one of the country’s largest independent finance houses, delivering innovative finance solutions through teamwork and technology.

They are now seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist for a 4-month Fixed Term Contract to support their growth and lead the implementation of a new core business system, aiming to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

The role involves providing expert procurement guidance, managing the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring compliance, minimizing risk, and securing the best value.

Role responsibilities include:

• Developing procurement strategies and planning for system selection
• Leading RFI/RFP development and vendor evaluation
• Contract negotiation and FCA compliance
• Acting as procurement lead and internal stakeholder point of contact
• Supporting project delivery with the Programme Manager
• Having 7–10+ years in strategic procurement, especially enterprise software selection
• Deep understanding of contract law, procurement best practices, and vendor negotiation
• Experience in financial services, asset finance a plus
• Strong stakeholder engagement, commercial acumen, and project delivery skills
• Ideally MCIPS-qualified
