Job summary

Mane Contract Services seeks a Purchasing Expeditor to support the supply chain with timely chasing of materials. You will maintain shortage reports, update data in Navision, and ensure all parties stay informed while adhering to policies and ethical standards.

The role involves engaging with suppliers, expediting POs to meet SLAs, and coordinating with internal teams to determine quantities and timing. Strong Excel skills and ERP/MRP experience are essential.

Qualifications

• The successful Purchasing Expeditor will possess strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Excellent customer service and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Outstanding organisational and prioritisation abilities to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Purchase Order processes and expediting procedures.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel for data tracking and reporting.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as Navision or D365 is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide performance metrics on supplier performance and delivery.
• Communicate with vendors efficiently to chase orders and resolve issues.
• Process supplier invoices and shipping paperwork accurately.
• Chase and expedite purchase orders to meet SLAs.
• Contact vendors and shippers to verify shipments and arrange delivery.
• Coordinate with transportation to prevent delays in transit.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to vendor service, quality or delays.
• Work with internal teams to determine goods needed and quantities.
• Maintain an accurate shortage report and track orders from placement to delivery.
• Inspect goods on arrival to ensure quality and quantity standards are met.
