Job summary

Mane Contract Services seeks a Purchasing Expeditor to support the supply chain with a methodical approach to chasing shortages and expediting orders. You will maintain shortage reports and ensure MRP (Navision) reflects changes, keeping internal customers informed.

The role requires working with third parties, adhering to contractual and quality policies, and delivering timely shipments while upholding the company's ethics and integrity.

Qualifications

• Experience with Purchase Order processing and expediting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• ERP/MRP experience required.
• Knowledge of Navision or D365 MRP advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide performance metrics.
• Communicate to vendors efficiently.
• Ensure that supplier invoices and shipping paperwork are administered accurately.
• Chase up and Expedite Purchase Orders to meet SLAs.
• Contacts vendors and shippers to ensure timely forwarding of goods.
• Coordinate with Transportation Company to preclude delays in transit.
• Manage issues related to vendor service, quality or delays.
• Find solutions to delays, vendor errors and other problems.
• Work with departments to determine goods required and quantities.
• Maintain an accurate Shortage Report and track orders from placement to delivery.
• Inspect goods on delivery to ensure quality and quantity meet specs.
• Arrange for distribution of materials upon arrival.
