Job summary

Evolution (Electronic Security Systems) Ltd is seeking a highly organised Procurement Coordinator to support the purchasing and supply of materials, equipment and services across the business. You will ensure engineers, projects and service teams receive the right products when needed, while maintaining cost-effectiveness and supplier performance.

You will raise POs, source from approved suppliers, obtain quotes, monitor stock levels and co-ordinate deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Raise and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Source materials, equipment, and services from approved suppliers.
• Obtain quotations and negotiate pricing where appropriate.
• Ensure all purchases comply with company procurement policies and procedures.
• Monitor purchase order progress and resolve any supply issues.
• Track supplier lead times, pricing, and service levels.
• Escalate supplier issues to the Procurement Manager where required.
• Monitor stock levels and replenish inventory as required.
• Coordinate deliveries and ensure accurate receipt of goods.
• Work closely with Operations, Engineering, and Project Management teams to understand material requirements.
• Ensure project equipment is procured and delivered within agreed timescales.
