Job summary

Evolution (Electronic Security Systems) Ltd in Marlow seeks a Project Planner to work with the Senior Project Planner, Project Manager and Operations Administration Manager to plan and deliver projects efficiently, cost-effectively and in line with company policies.

You will manage subcontractor tender processes, procurement, and project handovers, while maintaining project trackers and ensuring documentation is completed for UK and Irish projects as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in an administrative role, preferably within engineering or construction
• Excellent organisational abilities with strong time-management skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems; MS Projects is advantageous
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Understanding of time and cost factors in projects
• Ability to focus on results in financial and timeline targets

Responsibilities

• Plan, oversee subcontractor tender process, procurement and assist PM in project completion and handover
• Establish connections with suppliers and subcontractors for competitive pricing and service
• Build project packs and update project tracker and logs; enter project in GT after ops approval
• Coordinate project handover with PM, Sales and Service teams and ensure documentation is complete
• Facilitate regular meetings with project managers and planners based on timelines
• Update live project key dates and tick lists
• Monitor cost analysis monthly in coordination with PM to forecast margin
• Create subcontractor contracts and submit for approval
• Ensure training standards and visas/residency permits are up to date with HR support
• Support PMs with monthly invoice forecast and assist finance with aged debtor follow-ups
