Job summary

Orion Electrotech is seeking a highly organised Procurement Coordinator to join a growing engineering and manufacturing operation. You will balance day-to-day purchasing with supplier development and global sourcing, driving continuous process improvement.

You will coordinate procurement of components, materials and services through an MRP-driven process, ensuring on-time delivery while strengthening supplier performance and mitigating risks.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in Procurement roles such as Coordinator, Administrator or Buyer.
• Experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment with MRP/ERP systems.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day purchasing activities through MRP/ERP systems.
• Raise and manage purchase orders with approved suppliers.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from new and existing suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and delivery schedules.
• Develop supplier relationships and negotiate pricing and lead times.
• Support global sourcing initiatives and improve procurement processes.
