Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Procurement Category Manager to lead sourcing and supplier management across HR and FM spend. You will drive end-to-end procurement activities, including tendering, contracts management and SRM, within a small, high-performing team.

The role emphasises stakeholder engagement, savings delivery and risk mitigation, with a hybrid working pattern: 2 days in office, 3 days remote.

Qualifications

• Experience in indirect or services procurement across HR and FM, or corporate services.
• Ability to develop category, sourcing and supplier relationship strategies.
• Proven track record in delivering procurement savings and supplier rationalisation.
• Full lifecycle procurement: tendering, negotiations, contracts management and SRM.
• Strong, proactive relationship builder with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing, tendering and supplier selection activities.
• Oversee contracts lifecycle, reviews and renewals with internal teams.
• Drive supplier performance, innovation and collaboration improvements.
• Mitigate procurement risk and support operational resilience initiatives.
• Collaborate with HR, FM and other functions to optimise spend.
