Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager (Digital Services) for a major UK Infrastructure client. The role combines strategic category leadership with senior stakeholder engagement to shape procurement strategy across programmes and projects.

You will lead a team through the full procurement lifecycle, ensuring compliant, high-value outcomes in a regulated setting. The role offers hybrid working with 40% office presence across multiple UK locations.

Qualifications

• End-to-end procurement experience in a regulated setting.
• Knowledge of PCR 2015 and Procurement Act 2024, including related guidance.
• Experience in market analysis to shape sourcing strategies.
• Ability to produce high-quality tender documentation (ITT, RFQ).
• Experience with NEC-style contracting models is advantageous.
• CIPS qualification preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing procurement team across strategy to award and delivery.
• Build and execute compliant, commercially robust procurement strategies.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to translate needs into market strategies and plans.
• Lead contract award activity and negotiate key variations within regulation.
