Job summary

Dovecote Park Ltd in Pontefract is seeking a Processing Operative to join our family-run Yorkshire business. You will stack down meat products onto pallets, ensure separate handling, and transfer goods while maintaining the temperature and food safety standards.

The role involves stocking products in correct locations, working to high standards to minimise waste, and operating machinery with manual handling duties. Benefits include onsite parking and staff facilities.

Responsibilities

• Stack down meat products onto own pallets.
• Ensure that each product is kept separate.
• Transfer meat products in a way that maintains the temperature of the product within food safety and company limits.
• Check that the route to storage is clear and safe, following company procedures to deal with any problems.
• Stock meat products in the correct location allocated for each product.
• Work to a high standard to efficiently complete all duties to minimise waste and downtime to maximise yields
• Operation of machinery

Pay Rate:£13.01 per hour
Contract:Permanent
Location:Pontefract, WF8 3DD
Shift Available:Monday to Friday 05:45am to 14:45pm
