Nuffield Health in Tiverton is recruiting a Decontamination Process Technician for the bank, ad hoc and part‑time. You will dismantle, sterilise and inspect medical instruments for theatre use, keep equipment in good order and support a busy team with accurate record-keeping.

Role requires basic education, literacy and numeracy, and strong attention to detail. Flexibility for evenings, weekends and night shifts is essential.

• Basic standard of general education with proven literacy and numeracy skills.
• Organised with good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ideally evidence of sterile services training.

Responsabilidades

• Dismantle, prepare and sterilise medical instruments for theatre surgery.
• Inspect and maintain instruments to a high standard.
• Ensure all equipment is in good working order and report faults.
• Regularly check medical equipment for damage and faults.
• Work with a strong friendly team and take on training as required.
• Be computer literate and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment and handle manual handling up to 13kg.
• Escalate issues where necessary and comply with policies.

As a Process Technician at our unit, you’ll bring a basic standard of general education with proven literacy and numeracy skills. You’re organised with good communication skills – and ideally, you’re able to show evidence of sterile services training.

As a Decontamination Process Technician, you will:

• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with our policies and procedures
• Handle manual handling duties up to 13kg.
• Have strong attention to detail and an overarching desire to deliver a high quality service.
