Nuffield Health is seeking a Process Technician (bank/ad hoc) at Tiverton HSSU Hub. The role is part-time and unpaid across shifts, including evenings, weekends and nights, on a flexible basis to support hospital operations.

You will dismantle, prepare and sterilise instruments for theatre, inspect and maintain equipment, and ensure records are accurate. A basic education with literacy/numeracy is expected; sterile services training is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Dismantle, prepare and sterilise medical instruments for theatre surgery.
• Inspect and maintain instruments to a high standard.
• Ensure equipment is in good working order and report faults.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment and accurate records.
• Handle manual handling duties up to 13 kg.
• Be computer literate and able to work with our systems.
• Take on training as required.
• Escalate issues where necessary.

• Dismantle and prepare and sterilise Medical Instruments ready for Theatre Surgery
• Inspect and maintain instruments to a high standard
• Help to ensure all equipment is in good working order
• Regularly check medical equipment for damage and report any faults
• Work with a strong friendly team
• Take on training as required
• Be computer literate
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
• Take action to resolve any problems
• Escalate issues where necessary
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with our policies and procedures
• Handle manual handling duties up to 13kg.
• Have strong attention to detail and an overarching desire to deliver a high quality service.
  As a Process Technician at our unit, you'll bring a basic standard of general education with proven literacy and numeracy skills. You're organised with good communication skills - and ideally, you're able to show evidence of sterile services training.
