Job summary

SPM Instrument UK Ltd. is seeking a Process Optimisation Engineer in the United Kingdom to convert machine data into measurable gains in throughput, energy and quality for our customers.

Based at the UK home base with site visits, you will lead on-site assessments, collaborate with technical, sales and RDC teams, and translate HD data into practical operating recommendations across grinding, screening, woodchippers and centrifugal pumps, delivering tangible improvements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Mechanical, Process, Chemical, Mining or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience improving industrial processes in plant, operations, reliability or field engineering roles.
• Solid grasp of rotating equipment and how performance affects the process.
• Excellent data analysis and clear, commercial recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site process assessments and baseline measurements.
• Identify opportunities to improve throughput, energy use, yield or quality.
• Specify, install, configure and commission process optimisation solutions.
• Interpret data and build dashboards to guide operating parameters.
• Present findings and business cases to operations and management.
• Demonstrate tangible gains and support sales with technical input.
