Job summary

SUEZ is seeking a Technical Plant Engineer for processing facilities across the UK. You will provide day-to-day technical support, work with site and technical teams, and drive projects to improve performance, reliability and sustainability.

The role requires a Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership, a relevant engineering degree, and experience in process/power/waste environments. Flexible UK-wide location with travel 2–3 days/week and 2 days WFH.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership
• Degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline
• Experience in a process, power, waste management or heavy engineering environment
• Knowledge of environmental legislation and management systems
• Strong communication and problem-solving, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams

Responsibilities

• Providing technical support to energy, alternative energy and processing facilities across the UK
• Collaborating with technical teams, site leaders and stakeholders to maintain high operational standards
• Supporting the resolution of site-based engineering and technical issues
• Assisting with project management activities, including equipment upgrades and improvement initiatives
• Promoting safe working practices, compliance and continuous improvement
