Job summary

Stantec in the United Kingdom seeks a Principal Process Engineer to own the process engineering delivery across Clean Water projects, from optioneering through detailed design. You will develop and review process designs, calculations, specifications and technical reports, working with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

You'll help improve efficiency, reliability and sustainability of water treatment assets, mentor engineers and contribute to proposals.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) with a relevant professional institution.
• Significant experience delivering Clean Water process engineering within the UK water sector.
• Strong understanding of water treatment processes and process engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of process engineering delivery on Clean Water projects from optioneering to detailed design.
• Develop and review process designs, calculations, specifications and technical reports.
• Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary project teams to deliver practical solutions.
• Mentor engineers and share knowledge to raise technical capability.
