Stantec in the UK seeks a Principal Process Engineer – Clean Water to lead process design across challenging clean water projects. You will operate from London, High Wycombe, Reading, Brighton, Southampton or Cambridge and mentor developing engineers.

You will own technical delivery from feasibility through to detailed design, assess treatment options and build client relationships. You will collaborate with civil, mechanical and electrical specialists and contribute to bids and frameworks.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering or related discipline.
• CEng/IEng Chartered status or working towards.
• Significant experience in clean water process engineering in the water sector.
• Strong understanding of water treatment processes and design principles.
• Experience developing and reviewing process designs and technical deliverables.
• Ability to take technical ownership and work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication skills with clients and colleagues.
• Experience mentoring developing engineers.

Responsabilités

• Lead process engineering delivery across clean water projects.
• Provide technical direction from feasibility to detailed design and implementation.
• Develop and review clean water process designs, calculations, mass balances, and specs.
• Evaluate treatment options and improve water quality and asset performance.
• Support upgrades, capacity improvements and resilience projects.
• Collaborate with other engineering specialists to deliver integrated solutions.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to continuous improvement.
