Job summary

Stantec in the UK is seeking a Process Engineer – Wastewater to join our growing team across Birmingham, Derby, Redditch, Cardiff or Bristol. You will support process design, calculations and wastewater assessments, contributing to resilient infrastructure and sustainable water services.

This role offers mentoring, cross‑disciplinary collaboration and career development as you work from feasibility through detailed design and construction support.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related discipline.
• Understanding of process engineering principles and wastewater treatment is preferred.
• Good analytical, technical and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to process designs, calculations, mass balances and wastewater treatment assessments.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, calculations and design documentation.
• Support projects from feasibility and concept development through to detailed design and construction support.
• Assist with site investigations, asset assessments, treatment optimisation and technical studies.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to understand project requirements and develop effective engineering solutions.
• Build your technical capability through mentoring, training and hands‑on project experience.
