Outline of Role

As a Process Engineer, the successful candidate will support the pre-production process from bid stage to production release.

Remuneration and Benefits

A competitive wage will be offered depending on experience. Benefits include up to 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays, pro-rata), a 5% employer pension contribution, discounted gym memberships within Fife, and Life Assurance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The process engineer will support pre-production activities to ensure technical requirements are understood from bid to production. This role collaborates with sales, procurement, projects, QA, and technical teams.

  • Create engineering master routing templates.
  • Manage manufacturing routings and estimate corrections.
  • Handle drawing change management.
  • Support sales and estimating, including technical reviews and manufacturing capability discussions with clients.
  • Review equipment and plant capabilities to meet customer orders and BOMs.
  • Provide manufacturing routing that meets contractual requirements and specifications.
  • Ensure routing efficiency and that routing packs include all relevant drawings.
  • Maintain routing information with current revisions.
  • Liaise with other departments on customer requirements, specifications, drawings, and BOMs.
  • Prioritize workload according to requirements.
  • Participate actively in meetings.
