We're looking for a results-driven professional in the role of Process Engineer to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective product delivery while leading continuous improvement projects that enhance product, process, and plant performance. This role also supports the development and documentation of Activated Carbon processes, driving operational excellence and delivering real business value.

- Develop extensive knowledge of products, processes, production, and evaluation methods.
- Take ownership of Activated Carbon processes, including control plans, Failure Modes Effect Analysis, and Statistical Process Control.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with the Technology Manager, ensuring follow-up and closure of actions.
- Monitor key performance metrics to achieve OEE, fuel, and effluent targets.
- Define and manage Off Quality issues.
- Support the quality management system through audits and handling external customer complaints.
- Participate in the Management of Change (MOC) process, ensuring effective communication of issues impacting product quality.
- Manage CAPITAL projects, ensuring completion within scope and budget.
- Present results and conclusions to technical and management teams, producing clear and timely reports.
- Maintain operational awareness of HS&E and product safety regulations related to Activated Carbon manufacturing and marketing, ensuring compliance and safety on site.
Minimum Qualifications
- Higher education in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- Proven experience in chemical process engineering, preferably continuous processes in the chemical industry.
- Experience applying quality and statistical tools for performance improvement.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, including environmental, H&S, and ATEX standards.
- Experience with mass and energy balances, process optimization, fault finding, hazard analysis, and root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of solids and liquids handling, process control systems, and P&I diagrams.
- Strong understanding of statistical methodologies and analytical tools.
- Excellent project planning, management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships.
