Job description

Terumo Aortic is currently seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our Engineering team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a global organization and make a meaningful impact.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

  1. Review and improve manufacturing processes to enhance capability and effectiveness.
  2. Implement continuous improvement programs to achieve cost savings aligned with manufacturing goals.
  3. Coordinate with relevant departments for new product transfers, ensuring specifications and packaging materials are prepared.
  4. Apply knowledge of FMEA and DOE processes to optimize manufacturing.
  5. Manage ECOs to resolve product quality, cost, and design issues.
  6. Ensure proper testing and validation of materials and processes to confirm product fit and function.
  7. Generate and review drawings and artwork for accuracy.
  8. Conduct root cause analysis for product defects and implement corrective actions.
  9. Monitor the effectiveness of corrective measures in the field.
  10. Identify and validate cost-saving opportunities through testing and process changes.
  11. Assess and facilitate the transfer of manufacturing processes internally and to contract manufacturers.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in a high-quality manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of process engineering and maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently, analyze problems, and develop action plans.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Teamwork skills.
