Job summary

RecruitAbility Ltd is seeking an IT Support Technician for a permanent role in Bishops Stortford. You will provide friendly IT support to clients remotely and on site, troubleshooting hardware and software issues and helping users get up and running.

You will manage your workload, take ownership of issues, and participate in IT implementation projects across diverse client environments, with training and support to develop your technical knowledge.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in first-line IT support
• Driver's licence and own transport
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proactive and curious approach
• Willingness to learn and work independently
• Microsoft certification or cybersecurity knowledge is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly IT support to clients remotely and on site
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, email and connectivity issues
• Set up computers, user accounts and equipment
• Organise workload and own issues to keep customers informed
• Get involved in IT implementation projects and improvements across client environments
• Work independently while leveraging team support when needed
