Job summary

Huntress is partnering with a well-established business in Redhill to recruit a proactive Credit Controller for a 12-month fixed term contract. You will manage your own ledger, drive cash collection and resolve queries to support monthly targets.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in credit control, strong Excel skills, excellent communication and the ability to work in a fast-paced team. The role offers a professional environment with clear SLAs and opportunities for progression after the contract.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience in a Credit Control position.
• Experience working in a high-volume, B2B environment.
• Proven track record of collecting debt and hitting targets.
• Strong Excel skills and numerical/analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload.
• Calm, confident and resilient under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Managing a ledger of B2B customer accounts.
• Proactively chasing outstanding debt via telephone.
• Working towards cash collection targets and reducing aged debt (90+ days).
• Investigating and resolving customer queries to meet SLAs.
• Reviewing and assessing customer credit limits when needed.
• Maintaining records and completing daily credit control processes.
• Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Prioritising workloads to maximise collections and meet deadlines.
