Job summary

Huntress is partnering with a well-established business in Redhill to recruit a proactive Credit Controller to join a busy finance team. You will manage your own ledger, drive cash collection, chase outstanding debt by phone, resolve queries promptly and help the team hit monthly targets while maintaining superb customer relationships.

We are looking for 2–3 years' experience in credit control, excellent Excel skills, strong numerical and analytical abilities, and a calm, professional approach

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience in a Credit Control position.
• Experience in a high-volume B2B environment.
• Proven track record of collecting debt and meeting targets.
• Strong Excel skills with numerical and analytical ability.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload.

Responsibilities

• Managing a ledger of B2B customer accounts.
• Proactively chasing outstanding debt by telephone.
• Working towards cash collection targets and reducing aged debt (90+ days).
• Investigating and resolving customer queries to meet SLAs.
• Reviewing and assessing customer credit limits when required.
• Maintaining accurate records and completing daily credit control processes.
• Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Prioritising workloads to maximise collections and meet deadlines.
