Job summary

Emerus operates a 20-bed small-format hospital and is seeking a Nurse Assistant for PRN night coverage (7PM-7AM). You will support the nursing process under RNs, handle basic clerical tasks, and ensure patient comfort. This role requires English proficiency and adherence to safety standards.

The position emphasizes teamwork, flexible scheduling, and delivering compassionate care across life stages in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced indirect and selected direct patient care as directed by RN or physician.
• Perform vital signs, glucose checks, EKGs, and record keeping.
• Assist with bathing, meals, mobility, transport, and basic procedures.
• Ensure patient safety, PPE protocols, and maintain orderly patient rooms.
