Job summary

Emerus, a leader in small-format ER hospitals, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room. You will assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care, aligning with protocols and physician orders.

Essential duties include age-appropriate nursing care, accurate charting, monitoring patient status, and coordinating procedures with lab testing and infection control, while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions required.
• 2+ years ER RN experience required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (ENA/ENCP acceptable substitutes)

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide age-appropriate nursing care in the ER.
• Document medical records accurately and legibly.
• Monitor and record patient signs, symptoms and status.
• Follow physician orders and deliver nursing interventions.
• Prepare and manage lab specimens and samples per policy.
