Job summary

Emerus is seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse for the night shift (7P–7A). The role emphasizes comprehensive patient assessment, coordination of care, and meticulous documentation in a 20-bed hospital setting. You will work within a team that prioritizes safety, infection control, and high-quality nursing practice.

The position requires 2+ years ER experience, active RN licensure, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing, required
• 2+ years ER or equivalent nursing experience, required
• Current BLS, ACLS/ALS, and PALS certifications, required; ENPC can substitute for PALS
• English fluency for written and oral communication

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Room
• Provide age-appropriate nursing care and ensure patient safety
• Document medical records clearly and accurately
• Follow physician orders and adhere to infection control policies
• Perform lab specimen collection and testing per policies and CLIA regulations
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Prepare equipment and assist with procedures in the ER

Education

Associate's Degree or Nursing Diploma

BSN, preferred
