Job summary

Puro Associates, a well‑established law firm in Northamptonshire, is looking for an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its growing Private Client team in the East Midlands. You will manage a varied caseload spanning wills, probate, trusts, LPAs and inheritance tax planning, while delivering high standards of client service.

Job description

An established and growing law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its team in Northamptonshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced private client professional to take on a varied caseload while playing an important role within a supportive and collaborative team.

The Role

You will manage a varied private client caseload, dealing with matters including:

• Wills and estate planning
• Probate and estate administration
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Inheritance Tax planningl
• Trust creation and administration

Alongside managing your own caseload, you will also have the opportunity to support the development of the wider team, including providing guidance and supervision to more junior colleagues. You will work closely with senior members of the department to maintain high standards of client service, compliance and technical quality.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• 5+ years' PQE or equivalent private client experience, although flexibility will be considered
• Strong technical knowledge across wills, probate, trusts and inheritance tax
• Experience managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
• Confidence supporting and mentoring junior colleagues
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• A professional, approachable and client-focused manner
• Strong attention to detail
• The ability to build lasting relationships with clients and professional contacts
• A genuine interest in contributing to the growth and development of the team

STEP qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
