Clayton Legal is recruiting a Private Client Solicitor/Legal Executive for a growing firm in Liverpool. You will manage an active caseload across Court of Protection, Wills, Probate, Trusts and Estate Planning, while advising elderly and vulnerable clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' PQE as a Solicitor or Legal Executive within Private Client
• Solid experience handling Wills, Probate, Trusts, Estate Administration and Estate Planning
• Court of Protection experience is essential
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Experience using Case Management Systems, Laserforms and Microsoft Excel
• Proactive, organised and team-focused approach

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload including Court of Protection matters, Wills and Probate
• Handle Trusts and Estate Planning and tax planning for private clients

• Keep clients informed with high levels of care
• Liaise with HMRC, Land Registry, Probate Registry and Courts

If you're a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive looking for a role where you'll handle quality work, be trusted with your own caseload and have the opportunity to develop your career, this could be the perfect next move.

We're recruiting on behalf of a growing law firm in the Woolton area that is looking to add an experienced Private Client lawyer to its busy and supportive team. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years' PQE and experience across a broad range of Private Client matters, with particular knowledge of Court of Protection work.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team where you'll work with a varied client base, including high-net-worth individuals and vulnerable clients, while playing an active role in the continued growth of the department.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing your own caseload, including:

• Court of Protection matters, including more complex cases
• Wills and Probate
• Trusts and Estate Planning
• Tax planning for private clients
• Advising elderly and vulnerable clients

Alongside your legal work, you will:

• Keep clients informed throughout their matter with a high level of client care
• Liaise with organisations including HMRC, HM Land Registry, the Probate Registry, the Courts and other professional bodies
• Meet with clients both face-to-face and remotely
• Help develop new business opportunities and maintain professional relationships
• Contribute articles and content to support the firm's marketing activity

About You

You will ideally have:

• A minimum of 2 years' PQE as a Solicitor or Legal Executive within Private Client
• Solid experience handling Wills, Probate, Trusts, Estate Administration and Estate Planning
• Court of Protection experience is essential
• Confidence managing your own workload and prioritising competing deadlines
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Experience using Case Management Systems, Laserforms and Microsoft Excel
• A proactive, organised and team-focused approach

Experience working with high-net-worth clients is essential, while property experience and access to your own vehicle would be beneficial.
