Job summary

DJH is seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join our Estate Planning team in a role based at our Halesowen site. You'll support clients at important life events, drafting Wills, LPAs and Trust documents while liaising with a multidisciplinary team.

The position offers a path for growth within a collaborative environment and travel to multiple offices. Candidates may be based primarily at Manchester, Liverpool, Chester or Midlands offices with one day per week at the Stoke-on-Trent Head Office;

Qualifications

• Be a qualified or newly qualified solicitor (or possess equivalent qualifications and practical experience)
• Have proven experience within Private Client, with a good understanding of estate administration, Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Trusts
• Be comfortable working with electronic case management systems
• Thrive in a supportive, team‑oriented environment where learning and development are encouraged
• Enjoy building relationships with high net worth clients and demonstrate strong communication skills in a client‑facing role

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for management of estate administrations, attorney and trust files, with guidance from senior colleagues
• Draft high-quality Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Trust documentation tailored to meet the needs of high‑net‑worth individuals and business owners
• Work closely with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, benefiting from shared expertise across the group to deliver a seamless client experience
