Job summary

DJH in Derby is seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join the Estate Planning team, supporting clients during important life events. You’ll draft Wills, LPAs and Trust documents while managing estate administration with guidance from senior colleagues.

The highly regarded Estate Planning team is based mainly at our Head Office in Stoke-on-Trent, with options to be based in Manchester, Liverpool, Chester or Midlands offices, spending one day weekly at Head Office.

Qualifications

• Be a qualified or newly qualified solicitor (or possess equivalent qualifications and practical experience).
• Have proven experience within Private Client, with a good understanding of estate administration, Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Trusts.
• Be comfortable working with electronic case management systems.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for management of estate administrations, attorney and trust files with guidance from senior colleagues.
• Draft high-quality Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Trust documentation tailored to high-net-worth individuals and business owners.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver a seamless client experience.
