Job summary

LJ Recruitment is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a Basildon-based law firm on a permanent, full-time basis. You will manage a diverse Private Client caseload, draft Wills and LPAs, and oversee estate administration with close attention to regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate is a qualified solicitor with 3+ years PQE in Private Client, offering strong drafting, communication and organisational skills. Competitive DOE + Benefits, Basildon office.

Private Client Solicitor (3+ PQE) | Basildon | £DOE + Benefits

A well-established and reputable Basildon law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its growing team. This permanent, full-time role offers the opportunity to manage a varied caseload within a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage a busy Private Client caseload.
• Draft Wills, LPAs and other legal documents.
• Handle estate administration from start to finish.
• Advise clients on Wills, Probate and Trust matters.
• Liaise with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions and third parties.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Deliver excellent client care and support junior team members where appropriate.

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years' PQE in Private Client law.
• Strong experience in Wills, Probate and Trusts.
• Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision.
• Excellent drafting, communication and organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and knowledge of regulatory requirements.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9.00am-5.30pm.

Location: Basildon office.

Position: Permanent.
