Job summary

LJ Recruitment is seeking a Private Client Solicitor in Basildon for a busy, varied caseload within a supportive firm. You will handle Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, Trusts and LPAs from instruction to completion.

The successful candidate will manage a caseload with minimal supervision and require strong drafting, communication and regulatory knowledge. This is a permanent, full-time role with salary DOE + benefits.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years' PQE in Private Client law.
• Strong experience in Wills, Probate and Trusts.
• Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision.
• Excellent drafting, communication and organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and knowledge of regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a busy Private Client caseload.
• Draft Wills, LPAs and other legal documents.
• Handle estate administration from start to finish.
• Advise clients on Wills, Probate and Trust matters.
• Liaise with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions and third parties.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Deliver excellent client care and support junior team members where appropriate.

A well-established and reputable Basildon law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its growing team. This permanent, full-time role offers the opportunity to manage a varied caseload within a supportive and professional environment.

The successful candidate will handle Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, Trusts and LPAs, providing clear, practical and client-focused advice from instruction through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage a busy Private Client caseload.

• Draft Wills, LPAs and other legal documents.

• Handle estate administration from start to finish.

• Advise clients on Wills, Probate and Trust matters.

• Liaise with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions and third parties.

• Maintain accurate case records and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9.00am-5.30pm.
