GWR Legal Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Private Client Paralegal to join a respected Solicitors Practice in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. The role supports fee earners on private client matters including wills, probates and LPAs, with training and progression opportunities toward Solicitor or Legal Executive.

Qualifications

• Experience in private client work is beneficial but not essential if experience in other areas of law can be demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Dealing with opening and closing of files and completing ID, AML and compliance checks.
• Handling new business enquiries within the team.
• Meeting with clients alongside lawyers to receive instructions and advise on their legal issue.
• Keeping clients updated on their matters via phone, email or post; chasing information as needed.
• Drafting wills and LPAs under supervision with training provided.
• Assisting lawyers with Court of Protection and probate matters.
• Carrying out land registry searches.
• General administration: typing, letters, forms and documents.
