Oculus Legal Group is seeking a Private Client Paralegal to join its busy Private Client team in Abingdon. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to support fee earners with a varied caseload and play a key role in delivering high-quality client service.

The successful candidate will have Private Client experience, strong organisational skills, and a proactive approach, with a client-focused mindset and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a Private Client team.
• Good understanding of Wills, Probate and Estate Administration.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach.
• Confident communication with a client-focused mindset.
• Experience using a legal case management system would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support fee earners with the day-to-day management of Private Client files.
• Assist with Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, LPAs and Trusts.
• Prepare and review legal documentation.
• Liaise with clients, beneficiaries, executors, financial advisers and other third parties.
• Assist with the administration of estates and gathering relevant information and documentation.
• Conduct relevant searches and assisting with estate administration requirements.
• Provide regular updates to clients and assisting with queries.
• Maintain accurate file records and ensuring compliance procedures are followed.
• Support the team with general administrative and case management duties.
