Job summary

Howden is seeking an Account Handler to join our Private Clients team in a client-focused, office-based role. You will build strong relationships with an existing book of High-Net-Worth clients and work closely with the wider team to achieve objectives.

You will attend client meetings, prepare renewal presentations, advise on products, and pursue cross-sell opportunities while developing your Cert CII qualification.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in private client or high-net-worth insurance.
• Cert CII or working towards it.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively to manage larger accounts.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate positive relationships with current clients and ensure outstanding service.
• Attend client meetings, take notes, and handle renewal presentations and terms.
• Identify opportunities for existing clients and cross-sell products.
• Advise clients on suitable products and solutions based on their needs.
• Deliver on cross-sales targets and contribute to team success.
• Ensure timely premium collection and adherence to procedures.
• Maintain accurate client records in line with FCA, GDPR, and AML requirements.
