Job summary

Gartner, Inc. in London is seeking a Director to lead privacy and information governance thought leadership within the BTI group, advising General Counsels at world‑leading companies with pragmatic, actionable insights.

You will develop compelling content, engage clients in person or virtually, and mentor junior analysts while collaborating with Legal, IT, and Finance to shape Gartner's research agenda. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; JD degree preferred.
• 10+ years of privacy, information governance, or in-house legal dept. experience.
• Experience leading privacy risk management and privacy strategy.
• Executive presence with credibility with executives.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Create innovative, must-have insights content.
• Develop insights and thought leadership for client needs.
• Serve as leading authority on privacy and information governance topics.
• Collaborate with Legal, IT, Finance to align positions and drive engagement.
• Develop content on AI governance and privacy landscape.
