Job summary

Gartner, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director Analyst in the BTI group to lead internal audit insights. You will guide analysts, develop actionable market-facing content, and engage clients through presentations and advisory discussions.

Travel up to 25% may be required as you shape research agendas and support sales with market perspectives. You will collaborate across analysts, drive continuous improvement in audit methodologies, and mentor junior colleagues while maintaining strong client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Graduate degree preferred; 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience.
• Deep knowledge of the internal audit leader (or Chief Audit Executive) role.
• Strong experience in Audit professional practices tasks and process improvement.
• Executive presence and credibility with executives and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills under tight deadlines.
• Excellent research and writing abilities; strong analytical and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25% (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Create innovative, thought-provoking, and highly leveraged insights content.
• Develop new insights and actionable approaches to client needs.
• Perform in-depth analyses to identify root causes and reframing strategies.
• Demonstrate thought leadership across a team of analysts.
• Provide clients with actionable advice aligned to content areas via virtual or face-to-face interactions.
• Create and deliver high-value presentation materials for Gartner events and client briefings.
• Support sales by providing market voice to drive client engagement.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate across Gartner’s Assurance Practice.
