Job summary

Gartner, Inc. seeks a Director in the Business and Technology Insights group to lead privacy and information governance thought leadership for GC clients among the world’s largest organizations.

You will create must-have insights, collaborate across teams, and present strategic guidance at Gartner events and client briefings, while staying ahead of AI governance trends and regulatory developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; JD preferred.
• 10+ years in privacy, information governance, or in-house legal dealing with privacy.
• Experience leading privacy risk management and privacy strategy.
• Ability to establish credibility with executives and stakeholders.
• Experience with AI governance is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative, must-have insights content for Gartner clients.
• Develop new insights and actionable approaches for client needs.
• Serve as a leading authority on privacy and information governance topics.
• Stay current on privacy trends, AI governance, and regulatory shifts.
• Collaborate with Legal, IT, Finance to align thought leadership.
• Develop content on emerging topics like AI governance and DPIAs.
• Analyze root causes of client barriers and drive strategic thinking.
• Mentor junior team members and support client engagements.
• Deliver high-value presentations for Gartner events and briefings.
