Job summary

Seetec is seeking a Custody Support Worker to join the CFO Evolution team, providing motivational guidance and tailored support to participants in custody. You will engage individuals from initial assessment through reintegration, delivering a mix of one-to-one and group interventions with a focus on pre-release planning.

Position is based at HMP Portland, 37 hours per week, permanent contract. A range of benefits accompanies a competitive salary (£25,877–£29,000 per annum) and ongoing

Qualifications

• IAG Level 3 is desirable.
• Experience managing a caseload of participants is desirable.
• Knowledge of inputting and retrieving electronic data and maintaining computer-based information systems; experience in a target-driven environment.
• Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills; ability to relate to people at all levels in various settings.
• Ability to motivate and sustain engagement of individuals.

Responsibilities

• Meet individual performance targets and contribute to team targets.
• Collaborate with volunteer mentors to manage caseloads and connect participants with housing, substance use, health, and other resources.
• Foster a learning environment; share best practices with colleagues.
• Ensure effective case management and risk coordination with safeguarding of adults and children; notify concerns to Probation Service.
• Meet all contractual targets.
