The hybrid role combines hands-on engineering with analytical problem-solving to install, configure, optimise, and maintain HP and Xerox print environments.

Qualifications

3-5 years experience with Photocopiers / MFD diagnostics.
Understanding of print servers, networking, AD/LDAP integration, and print queue management.
Experience with firmware upgrades, configuration utilities, and fleet management tools.
Strong troubleshooting across Windows and macOS print architectures.
Ability to read manuals, service bulletins, and diagnostic tools.
Excellent customer-facing communication; able to work independently or in the field.
End-user training or knowledge-transfer experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and optimise HP and Xerox printers, copiers, and production devices at customer sites.
Deploy and support print management solutions including secure print and follow-me printing.
Provide end-user training on device functionality and print management tools.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network print issues.
Perform preventative maintenance, firmware updates, component replacement, and health checks.
Produce technical documentation and service reports in line with SLAs.
Collaborate with Pre-Sales and Solutions teams on custom print strategies.
