We are looking to recruit an experienced Estates Surveyor to lead a professional and passionate team. We have an exciting journey ahead to reinvigorate property management across the Council.
The role offers a varied caseload including estate management, lettings, sales, rent reviews, and a supporting role in development work. You will work in a wide team of technical experts to deliver Torfaen Council's policies and priorities concerning a diverse and multi-faceted property estate extending to over 1000 property assets. You will provide professional advice to the Council's services, external partners, and organizations.
We need someone who is highly motivated with the technical expertise, knowledge, and experience within the estate management sector to provide high-quality advice to the council, as well as the ability to think outside the box and provide innovative solutions to technical issues and challenges.
RICS qualification is an essential requirement for this post.
We need someone with experience working independently and with different service teams and occupants. Ideally, you will understand and have experience in property and asset management.
