Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer to lead the design and delivery of structural solutions for hydropower and dam projects across the UK. You will guide the technical delivery across the full lifecycle, work with clients and multidisciplinary teams, and help strengthen our structural engineering capability.

Ideally based from our offices in central High Wycombe, Reading, Edinburgh, Glasgow or Newcastle with flexible hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural engineering delivery of major energy projects and provide technical direction within project teams.
• Prepare and review detailed calculations, technical reports and design packages for submission to regulatory authorities.
• Provide technical oversight, mentoring and guidance to engineers and technicians.
