Calibre Search is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer in Glasgow to lead technically challenging infrastructure projects. You will guide a team of structural engineers, deliver design packages and ensure high-quality outputs across concrete, steel, foundations and underground structures.

You will mentor junior staff, contribute to bids, and coordinate with project managers and other disciplines while working in a hybrid model across UK and international projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status.
• Proven experience coordinating or managing Structural engineering design teams within a consultancy environment.
• Strong knowledge of Eurocodes, design standards and CDM requirements.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team of Structural Engineers delivering design packages on complex projects.
• Provide technical leadership across reinforced concrete, structural steel, foundations and underground structures.
• Produce and review technical deliverables including reports, calculations and drawings.
• Guide and mentor less experienced engineers and develop structural capability within the team.
• Support bids and technical proposals and collaborate with UK/international teams.
