Job summary

Calibre Search is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to take ownership of projects across rail, aviation, energy, data centres and other critical infrastructure. The role is based in the UK with hybrid working and diverse UK and international project exposure.

You will design structures using steel, concrete and timber, mentor junior engineers and lead multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with clients, architects and contractors.

Qualifications

• Chartered status and professional engineering experience.
• Experience delivering structural design across materials (steel/concrete/timber).
• Strong communication skills to explain engineering concepts to clients and stakeholders.
• Mentoring junior engineers and technicians is valued.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structural design on diverse projects suitable to your experience.
• Develop structural concepts and practical designs across materials and buildings.
• Apply engineering judgement to solve complex problems and optimise solutions.
