Assystem, a leading nuclear engineering firm, seeks a Principal Stress Engineer/Technical Lead to drive scoping, bidding and delivery of stress work packages in the Fusion and Modular Nuclear unit. You will build and lead a team delivering high-integrity assessments in line with international codes and standards.

Based in the UK, this hybrid role offers strategic impact, opportunities to shape capability, and collaboration with safety case authors, design engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualificações

• Degree in engineering and CEng is required.
• Experience in stress assessments in the nuclear sector.
• Strong communicator with commercial awareness.
• Experience with ASME III / ASME VIII, RCC-M, PD5500, R6.

Responsabilidades

• Lead bids and projects and deliver stress analyses.
• Act as technical lead for stress and structural integrity.
• Mentor junior engineers and develop talent.
• Represent stress capability in client meetings and pursuits.
• Apply ASME III/ASME VIII, RCC-M, and other codes.
