PEXA is expanding its UK presence and seeking a senior technologist to shape technical strategy and engineering excellence across multiple teams. You will drive architecture decisions, balance scalability with security, and champion modern software practices.

You’ll lead AI integration efforts, mentor engineers, and partner with product and business leaders to translate commercial goals into technical roadmaps. The role offers hybrid work with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Significant experience designing and delivering large-scale distributed systems.
• Proven track record defining technical strategy and driving engineering outcomes across orgs.
• Strong ability to collaborate across product, design and business to align roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute engineering strategy across multiple teams and domains.
• Drive architectural decisions balancing business priorities, scalability and security.
• Lead investigations into AI & emerging tech and integrate them into engineering practice.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to hiring and technical assessments.
