Job summary

PEXA is expanding in the UK and seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to build and operate the AWS-backed platform behind PEXA Go. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to deploy infrastructure as code, improve monitoring, and respond to incidents with clear communication.

In this hands-on role, you’ll own platform priorities, help scale the AWS environment, and ensure security and reliability as the service grows. Hybrid work with on-site and remote options.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing and running production workloads on AWS.
• Practical use of infrastructure as code and automation to deploy platform changes.
• Experience with containerized apps and Kubernetes and related troubleshooting.
• Experience setting up monitoring, logging and alerting for production problems.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure and maintain the AWS infrastructure and platform services for PEXA Go.
• Apply infrastructure as code and automation to make delivery repeatable and reliable.
• Deliver upgrades and lifecycle work while identifying dependencies and risks early.
