Job summary

Evolito Limited is seeking a Principal Technical Specialist - Simulation to lead the development of plant models for electric propulsion systems and power electronics. You will work in a fast-growing R&T team, building model-based simulations in MATLAB/Simulink to optimise performance of e-motors, gearboxes, batteries and power electronics.

You will validate models with rigorous testing, support MIL/HIL verification, and mentor engineers while collaborating with internal and external

Qualifications

Degree in electrical, mechanical or mechatronics engineering.
Proven experience with simulation modelling using MATLAB/Simulink/Simscape.
Strong understanding of electric drivetrain components (PMSMs, gearboxes, inverters, batteries).
Experience with data analysis, Python scripts, and model validation.

Responsibilities

Lead development of plant models for electrical and mechanical components in a model-based simulation environment.
Optimize design parameters by simulating flight cycles and performance under conditions.
Validate models with test methods and data analysis to correlate results.
Support MIL/HIL verification by providing models and harnesses for MIL/HIL environments.
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and help define best practices.
Prepare simulation reports and present findings to customers.
